“Supported Employment is for persons with disabilities for whom competitive employment at or above the minimum wage is unlikely and who because of their disabilities, need ongoing support to perform in a work setting.” (Developmental Disabilities Act of 1984)

When Is Payday?

Payday is as specified by your employer.

Benefits at RENEW

RENEW pays Worker’s Compensation and Social Security Taxes.

What if you leave RENEW?

If you should choose to leave the program, the staff at RENEW will help you find people to provide services that you may need. If that placement does not work out, you may return to RENEW within 60 days for additional services. This same policy applies if you should transfer from one employment position within the organization to another employment position.

Classification of Employee:
  • Full time: Works at least 36.5 hours per week
  • Part time: Works less than 36.5 hours per week
  • Exempt: Salaried
  • Non-Exempt: Hourly
  • Regular: Benefited
  • Temporary: Non-benefited, except for PTO
  • Substitute: On-call / as needed basis
  • Consultant: Used for expert advice as needed

RENEW services are  available to meet the particular needs of each individual
